My Journey So Far

Most of my work is centered in music. Especially the local Colorado music scene. From shooting at small intimate DIY clubs, to world class venues like Red Rocks, I take nothing for granted and enjoy every opportunity. Working along side other really talented photographers and collaberating with amazing musicians, has helped me expand on my creativity. The most rewarding part about this journey are the freindships I have made along the way.

Since 2021 I have been the main photographer for the Broomfield High School Marching Band. Documenting the practices and competitions has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to provide images for the students and their families to share and enjoy.

I have also volunteered my time and photography with the Denver based animal rescue PawsCo. Taking photos at two of their biggest fundraising events was a great opportunity. From 2022 - 2024 I was the Director of Photography, coordnating with other photographers to take animal photos for the website. During my time at PawsCo I had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and help find furever homes for hundreds of animals.

Some other highlightes from my photography career is having several of my images used for publictions. I have had photos used in local entertainment magazines, such as the Westword and the Rooster. My photos have also appeared in Creative Cosplays magazine. I have had images used on T-shirts, as well as severel album releases. I have even been asked by a handful of DIY music zines to provide some images of bands I have photographed. It is a good feeling knowing you have created something that others appreciate. All this has sparked a desire in me to publish my own physical print magazine. So in 2023 I created Sound Shots Media. A complete DIY zine dedicated in showcasing musicians, bands, promoters and other photographers in the Colorado music scene. Being able to have have my images in something physical like a magizine is really awesome, but being the one to design it from start to finish is really special.

With all that I have done it's still just the begining. I love to create and I love to work with like minded people. Photography is the creative outlet for me and I want to use it to take me as far as possible and create as much as I can. So whether I'm shooting a set at a small dark club, taking some promo shots for a bands next album release or I am capturing some cool shots for a senior who is soon to graduate. As long as I'm snapping that shutter I can't complain.
